SERTOSA NORTE, S.L., became part of Ibaizabal Group in 1998, as a result of a split from Sociedad Servicios Auxiliares del Puerto, S.A. (SERTOSA).
When the company split, SERTOSA NORTE, S.L., carried on from SERTOSA in A Coruña, Ferrol and San Ciprián, with the same human and technical resources as before. This means that SERTOSA NORTE, S.L., continues to benefit from more than 50 years of experience in operations in ports, at sea, and in salvage work.
SERTOSA NORTE, S.L., is immersed in a continuous growing process and with a highly qualified staff. Company’s fleet has been renewed and is made up by a range of tugs (Voith-Schneider and Stern Drive propulsion) and other vessels, in order to dedicate no only to the port towage but also ocean towage, salvage, fire-fighting and antipollutions services.
